With Overload adding a small boost in damage to Yoimiya, and exploiting Fischl‘s Ascension passive to proc rapidly. With Electro and Hydro applied to the enemy, Yoimiya then applies Pyro to proc both Vaporize and Overload. The basic idea relies on applying Hydro on top of Electro, proccing Electrocharged reactions that don’t consume both elements. So how do we solve this problem while building Yoimiya? We add another layer of damage to her kit, and add up DPS units namely Electro characters, and Hydro characters. That ratio is smaller than most Pyro units, and without Burst capability, it’s not enough to carry the team. Actually, Yoimiya is incapable of building Melt teams, and the best Vaporize ratio she can achieve is a little under 60% of her total damage. On top of that, she can’t Vaporize or Melt 100% of her damage, unlike our Hu Tao The Sublime Build. She also has a unique playstyle that wants her to stand still at range, and doesn’t offer much mobility. She falls short in high-density floors of the abyss, where AOE really shines. She has a Pyro Vision, and we agreed that Yoimiya has a good single target DPS, but not the best. The firework queen Yoimiya, is a recent addition to the game, with patch 2.0.
